Palos Verdes Engagement Photos

Nicole & Joaquin’s love story developed around the Palos Verdes area in Los Angeles. Joaquin even proposed to Nicole at the Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes and their wedding will be at the Los Verdes Golf Course in November. This is why we agreed that it would be the perfect place for their engagement photos.

We started at the Point Vincent Interpretive Center & the Point Vincent Lighthouse at Terranea Resort. Nicole wore a gorgeous white dress with cutout and lace details, and Joaquin rocked a soft blue button-down, khaki pants & nice shoes. The red soles of Nicole’s Louboutin heels showed every now & then, which made for a cute pop of color in the photos.

After we walked around the Point Vincent area, we took a 20-minute drive down to Redondo Beach, a special place where Nicole & Joaquin had their 4th date. We parked right across from Topaz Jetty, which had plenty of street parking. We started the second half of their engagement photoshoot on the boardwalk and ended up playing around on the sand near the water.

After a quick change, Nicole wore a tan colored wrap dress & pearls, and Joaquin changed into a short sleeved shirt. The two cuddled under a sarape blanket as an homage to their shared Mexican cultural backgrounds. This photoshoot proves that a cloudy day by the beach is just as stunning as a sunny one. Putting effort into small details such as a pop of color or a blanket can make for some adorable photos.
